Peer Nominations
Recognise and celebrate industry excellence by putting forward a peer nomination for #NTIA2026.
We encourage all individuals employed within the Australian travel industry to get involved in the awards and nominate their industry peers and/or preferred suppliers. Nominating is as simple as completing an online form with the nominee's contact information. You can put forward a nomination for some of all categories.
Only 1 peer nomination is required to participate in the NTIAs. Any subsequent peer nominations will be noted but these will not have any influence on the judging process.
Nominee Acceptances
All eligible nominees will receive an email notifying them of their nomination and asking them to accept or decline. If the nominee matches the description of the category, but not accredited - they'll have the opportunity to become accredited.
You may also receive multiple emails for each category you've been nominated in. Please double check the email content to verify.
Nominees must accept their nomination to be sent further information about the submission portal. We will cease communications with nominees who decline the nomination or do not respond.
Depending on your category, you will either undergo submission assessment or industry voting.
Visit the Methodology Page for detailed information about the different judging pathways.
For video and written submissions, the top 5 scoring nominees in each category will be announced as Finalists.
For the voted categories, the top 5 voted nominees in each category will be announced as Finalists.
Finalists will receive a social media asset kit which includes the official finalist badge and social media banner.
Finalists in selected categories will need to attend a virtual, judging interview with a panel of industry judges. This panel includes professionals from travel and tourism, and other business executives. The diversity of backgrounds helps ensure impartiality and minimises bias.
Each category will have 2 – 3 judges from the NTIA Judging Panel.
Please refer to your category's methodology for the winner determination process.
Winners will be announced at the National Travel Industry Awards – Gala Dinner and Awards Presentation on Saturday 10 October in Melbourne.
