• Category 21 - Most Outstanding Tour Operator - Specialised 
• Category 22 - Most Outstanding Tour Operator - Global 
• Category 23 - Most Outstanding Wholesaler - Product / Service 
• Category 24 - Most Outstanding Wholesaler - Destination / Experience 
• Category 35 - Most Outstanding Travel Support Service

Step 1 - Industry Voting & Finalist Determination

All nominees will automatically move forward to industry voting. Industry voting will commence on 15 June and conclude on 17 July. The link to the voting page will be emailed to nominees on 12 June. 

Anyone employed within the Australian travel industry can participate in industry voting, however they cannot vote for their own company. 

For this year, instead of a popularity vote, voters will be asked to rate each nominee based on their trade support and product offering. Finalists will be determined based on a combination of total votes received and weighted average score. 

If your company wishes to withdraw from industry voting at any point, please let us know by emailing NTIA@atia.travel. Please include the category and company name in your email. 

Step 2 - Finalists to attend a Virtual Judging Presentation 

• Finalists are required to attend a virtual judging presentation with 2-3 judges from the Industry Judging Panel. 
• Finalists will be asked to conduct a presentation addressing the interview questions. These are outlined within the Entrant Guidelines.  
• Virtual judging interviews will be scheduled between 17 August - 04 September, with morning and afternoon time blocks. The morning block will be from 9:30am - 12:30pm AEST; and afternoon block from 2:00pm - 5:00pm AEST (give or take 30mins, pending the judges’ availabilities and number of finalists).  
• We will email you the judging schedule, as well as the date, time slot, allocated judges and meeting link for your interview. Each finalist will be pre-assigned a 30min slot.  
• Failure to attend your scheduled interview without prior notice may result in disqualification and the next ranking nominee promoted to Finalist.  
• During your presentation, please have your presentation loaded and share your screen. Then, proceed at your own pace and clearly indicate when you are addressing each question. The focus of your presentation should be an analysis of your business and not a sales / promotional call.  
  
• Finalists are responsible for managing their own time during the interview. We recommend approximately 5mins to answer each pre-set question, so that you have sufficient time to also greet the judges and respond to the judges’ choice question/s. 
• Finalists' virtual judging interviews will be hosted via Microsoft Teams. Please check your computer and firewall settings to ensure that you can access the link provided; that you have access to reliable internet; and that you are in a quiet, private and well-lit location.
